FLORECIENDO

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

BLOOMING

I like stepping into my own little circle,
into that labyrinth that is my inner world,
into that gentle walk where I discover how I am blooming.

I like watching that old tree blossom
 in its twilight season,
in those poems I write and return to someday,
in my finest hour while the body slowly fades,
in those moments of golden decline.

In the reflection of the finest fruits,
 unafraid to reveal everything,
 that beautiful inner self,
 with a soul.

In the flowers that I draw,
 in those moments of inspiration,
while I gather the endless colours of the air,
within that light I love to catch and send dancing.

Without rules, simply myself,
 without pleasing anyone,
 just for me.

Accompanied
by the melody of the heart,
 while I swim tirelessly on,
through waters scented with chlorine, slowly,
accompanied by a solitude I chose.

In the glow of the burst of light,
 as I grow ripe,
 I bloom,
 in colours,
 within a grey life.

Where everything is possible,
inside myself, far from the world,
 sailing through my own depths,
 within a faded refuge,
 high in the tree,
 where the fruits
 of love
 come into bloom.

Gathering,
 collecting words
that drift through the air, bright with colour,
carried by the sway of heartbeats,
within the miracle of stepping beyond
 ordinary life,
 into the ecstasy
 of beauty.

Across the sand,
 through the grasses,
 running upon the air,
in the impossible longing to transcend,
to pass from life into something greater, into the universe,
into that inner universe where everything is possible in dreams,
in the sweetness of a rosy song
that reminds me of my own voice,
 that little gentle voice,
 in the tenderness

of creating,
 only for myself,
 without chains, without struggles,
letting the soul's hidden depths emerge
as droplets of delicious floating moments.

-------------

FLORECIENDO

 esa vocecilla dulce,
 en la suavidad

de crear,
 solo para mí,
 sin ataduras, sin luchas,
dejando salir el interior del alma
en gotas de deliciosos instantes flotantes.

There is a most lovely flowering of feelings in this poem where metaphor takes its place and the punctuation of periodic rhyme makes the poem bloom in colorful and fragrant blossoms. Loved it
