Caressed by both genitals against your will
Was not part of the cards I had imagined I would draw.
Well, it is God's plan indeed.
It was His plan to inflict such an act on a child who had not yet had her first period.
And then you grow up wondering why you cannot develop and sustain romantic relationships beyond sexual tension.
Indeed, it was God's plan.
Cause the pain, make you feel guilty, then tell you that the solution to your suffering is Him.
Typical narcissistic behaviour.
For all the rape victims, the shame is not yours, though the life is yours.
I cannot promise that the pain will go away, because your life will never be quite the same. But it is not your fault. Neither is God the answer to your pain.
You did not ask for this. You did not consent to this. You did not deserve this.
You are not your past, and you are more than your experience.
I will say this: Use that anger. Rise to the very top, where your enemies cannot reach you. And even if they do, become powerful enough to crush them beyond saving.
For I do not believe in forgiveness. If there were forgiveness, we would not have the devil.

A most interesting view point put into a poetic write. I would have to agree with most of it. What one does to you is not your fault and carrying blame and guilt only hurts oneself. I do not believe in God and so would agree belief in him is not the answer but in such I do not believe in the devil either. Forgiveness is not for the offender but for the offended and frees them from carrying anger that rots them from inside. A wonderful write
Thank you for reading, I find your point about forgiveness interesting, particularly the idea that it frees the offended rather than the offender.
I suppose where we differ is that I do not believe forgiveness should be an expectation placed on someone who has been hurt. If they find it within themselves to forgive, that is entirely their choice. But I also believe one can release oneself from the weight of anger without necessarily forgiving the person responsible.
