There Hangs a Mirror

Kevin Hulme

There hangs a Mirror upon the Wall

That's borne the Face of Family all.

A Silver Disc that's Stationed by

To Capture face and Knotted Tie.

Some Features young,  Some very Old,

All Precious blood within the fold.

Much times of Joy and Laughter made,

And Breaking Hearts Condolence Paid.

But many were the days now past

When Souls now gone gazed in the Glass.

And are days I stand and Stare:

To glimpse a lost fond Image there
