Red red rose how fair you bloom,
Dancing love up to the moon.
Brilliance of the softest pedal,
Beauty in the eyes you settle.
Grow up tall, bloom till dawn,
With each morn proud and each eve strong.
Stem of thorns, rising free,
Deeper then the deepest sea.
Shine with tears that weep for loss,
And laugh with lips, two of love.
Oh rose your red, my flowing blood.
Oh rose your blue, my drowning flood.
Oh rose your pink, or i bethink.
Oh rose your white. of heavens light.
You take me to the wanting sky,
Reaching for an angels sigh.
And sing so silent, still of breath.
Whispering songs for only me till my timely or untimely death.
