The wind carries warning, a wail of mourning, breezes blow cool
Bird songs fall, wisteria colored clouds become a pall, with droplets of sky's drool
I cower in my lair with stiff neck hair, drunken on dreams
Bloodshot eyes scan lightening in the skies, fire riding heaven's beams
Words in the flame seem to call my name, a message printed in smoke
Messages from beyond where frogs in the pond stop and croak
