Night wraps tight
In silver light
While stars ignite above my sight
And I ask the sky as hours drift by
Will pain untwine
And leave me mine
Will scars grow small
By springtime's call
Will tears that fell
No longer dwell
Will fears take flight
With fading night
Will hope arise
With brighter eyes
Will fate reveal
What shadows conceal
Will dreams once torn
Be brightly worn
Will love return
Beyond the burn
Or will tomorrow bring more sorrow
The moon stays still upon the hill
The wind won't show the things I know
Yet deep inside
Where questions hide
A quiet glow begins to grow
And though I roam through doubt alone
I plant this plea where dawn may see
When morning arrives
And darkness dies
Will my heart finally know tomorrow's

A poem of questioning. There is an uncertainty that carries on this poem. It starts in darkness and moves toward dawn with a sense of hopefulness. Nicely written Anthony
