You’ve been gone so long, I thought you might’ve been dead
I want to starve you out, the demons conspire to make sure that you’re fed
You seep in from the grave, I feel my heart numb and see my vision red
I will force you out, I don’t miss where this has led
Just not before you remind me of the rain, make my peace chaotic and see my tranquility bled
I miss the excitement, I recall the exhilaration, I reminisce about the thrill
But it was never worth the pain, the exhaustion or the way you tried to go for the kill
Now go away, I’ve only begun to reconcile the shame you instill
You needn’t more of me, I needn’t more of you, we’ve had our fill
I will part in grace, but I won’t wish you good will
