How can I avoid you,

When I love talking to you?

How can I set my heart free,

When it keeps running back to thee?

I try to ignore what I feel,

But my stubborn heart won't heal.

I'm almost over you, or so I say,

Yet one little wink takes it all away.

You're in my heart, inside my mind,

A feeling I just can't leave behind.

How can you turn my world around,

With just one look, without a sound?

How could you ruin my peace of mind?

Why must your face be all I find?

I try to run, I try to hide,

Yet here you are, still deep inside.

Grrrr...!

I hate myself for feeling this way,

For letting my heart have the final say.

Oh, tell me, what am I supposed to do?

How can I avoid someone I love like you?
