Unsafe ,

I hear the waves

I hear the birds

I hear the kids laughing

I feel the sand beneath my feet

I feel the sun on my skin

I feel the wind in my hair

But I can't see

I can't see the sun

I can't see the birds

or the kids

I can only see darkness

Creeping up on me

Your filling my vision

Blocking everything from sight

You were my light

But now your my darkness

You kept me in my own little world

Perfect and happy

Then when it came time to face a world without you

 I fell from safety

Into a scary dark place

Fear lurking around every corner

In the streets and down back alleys

It comes from every angle

I close my eyes and scream

But you are not there to save me

I am no longer safe

Without you..
