The last I can remember

I had wings

I was an angel

I was sent to earth to protect her

I flew down to shield her

After a while, I was in love

The last I can remember

I had wings

I fell from heaven

I was sent to protect her

I ended up with love

The last I can remember

I was banished

Never to see her again

Or so the gods thought

Now I remember

I loved her

I’m still with her

I had wings

Now they’re gone

I fell, for her
