A darkling glance

devishree

Elucidating the difference,

So vivid…..in the presence of the sun,

Between the high sky and the mother earth,

That got lost somewhere amidst all the nocturnal affairs ….

Vandalizing the exuberant union of the two,

Rose the yawning sun.

Negating the peace,

That took abode the eyes of the millions.

Forcing every individual,

To face the incontinent impalpable,

War for survival,

Ascended the bright sun.

The passion that managed two souls,

Share their flesh,

Setting them ablaze,

In the twilight of the dark empire,

Halted,

At the advent of the rising sun.

The good and the bad retrieving back their identity

We still have the sun,

Injecting in us with all the vigor to start afresh

Making its presence as special as ever,

Making it welcome in all its essence.

Rose the yawning sun.
