Tears ,
They drop,
They slither,
They slide
Results of a bad day
An argument
An exhausting fight
They can hurt
They can heal
Expose who you are
They can uncover
They can reveal
Show a glimpse of vulnerability
Make it hard to hide
Peal protective shells away
Exchange hardness for a softer side
I'd like to avoid them
I don’t want them to spill
But if they want out, they are quite persistent
So I know, eventually, they will

Nice work Fran, tears are a great subject, they come into all our lives at some point. Personally i like to remember the tears of joy more than the tears of pain, ( not always easy to do though is it! )
