George Bernard Shaw once wrote; "There are two tragedies in life, one is to lose your heart's desire...the other is to gain it."
In my opinion, being overwhelmed with those emotions that come with gaining that grown affection is worth it.
The fact that you have so much to lose, it's scary yeah, but it makes you realize what you have is amazing...special. Worth fighting for and worth keeping alive.
The part on losing your heart's desire, I am sorry, but I think Shaw was blunt because...you can never lose that desire.
Your heart continues to ache for that person who holds your heart, even though you may not be with them, it's the fact that feelings like that exist in the world.
Tragedies happen, so what are you going to do? Quit? Give up? Cry? No.
That pain that we all feel after we intake that hurt, it's just life telling you that this is real.
We go through confusion and pain to remind our selves that there are better things out there in life, things worth fighting for.
When you find that certain something, fight like hell to keep it alive.
I immersed myself in someone else, it was good to feel belonged. Look, if having that happen is tragic...then I guess I'm a tragedy but I'd do it all again.
I don't regret a damn thing because I had the best two weeks of my life.
