Nowhere Special

meadowsprings

I stand there

Under the midnight sky

Sparkling silver stars

Lighting my way

My crystal blue eyes

Shimmer as I look to the moon

My honey blonde hair

Wave in the soothing breeze

My pale skin

White as snow

A blood red dress

Envelops my body

Swirling around my legs

A black cloak

Flows behind me

I walk slowly

My bare feet

Barely touching the grass

I look around me

But I see nothing

I wait for you

A clock strikes far behind me

It’s 12.00

Where are you ???

I stand there

Nowhere special

Waiting for you

Wondering where are you

A single tear slides down my cheek

Splashing at my feet

I collapse to my knees

Where are you ???

The place is silent

No sound

No whisper

I walk away

I don’t look back

It’s nowhere special

Not anymore !!!
