What If

Fran

I don’t know you

You don’t know me

Strangers to each other

Maybe that’s all we’ll ever be

But who can tell

Maybe this could be more

If there’s that chance

Than what are we holding back for

Yes, we might be going fast

And yes, this might not work out

But is that a reason to call it off

That I must say I seriously doubt

Because what if it turns out

That you and I are the best we ever

If insecurity makes me miss out on that

I’ll blame myself forever
