A day at a beach

AYESHABEG

Walking on the golden sand of times

Connecting to transient feet who left their imprints

They told me the lost glory of the world

The tingling salt water of the ocean between my toes

Whispering the tales of great voyages

Enticing to venture into deep blue water

The complex curving of the shells

Vouching the viciousness of the world

Begging not to lose hope

The giggling sounds of the children like a beautiful sonnet

Swearing that innocence prevails everything

Pleading to spare sometime out of the hubbub of the life

The crimson red sunset

Telling how fast the pendulum of time swings

Preparing the world to race the needle of the clock and be triumphant.
