My Christmas Gift

nair36

I knew her for a minute then I knew her for a while

I met this gorgeous girl with a gorgeous golden smile

She’s that type of girl I thought I never could of met

But dreams come true and this is one I won’t forget

I can say a million things but she can say a million more

Cause when I tell her how I feel it’s like a new world to explore

And it’s true that I’m in another world when we speak

My head gets heavy and my mind gets weak

When I talk to you I don’t need to use or smoke

It’s like every time I hear your voice I get another toke

Everything is at ease and there is no need to worry

I’m just chillin in the moment while everybody’s in a hurry

I can see the beauties of the world like fire and ice

She has those brilliant beauties to inspire me twice

The first time I was inspired she got me through some times

Then the second time I put together a couple rhymes

I want to tell her how I really feel but in a special way

It may not be for now it may not even be today

Saying something with true meaning is the hardest thing for me

But it’s easy when I know that you’re the only honest thing I see

The thing I love most is that you’re honest and true

So my favorite gift this Christmas is you

Santa was extra nice to me this year

I may not be religious but I’m blessed you’re here

I wish I lived closer, I’d read this to you aloud

I’d read it happy, I’d read it proud

If god exists then he’s showing me signs

I get a text from you and the sun shines

So please stay you, stay sound, stay swift

I’m forever grateful for this Christmas gift

I love this! It is SO sweet! You expressed it all so delightfully and the rhyming was very pleasant...the rythm was good too...off occasionally but good. It was very enjoyable to read.
