Young Jimmy

Francis Duggan

Young Jimmy is a happy man his friends in numbers grow

Because to smile not hard for him he has the inner glow

His kind are always popular the type one wishes for to know

If he owns any worries then such he does not show

Not into sports in any way though he used to play underage football

And though he was quite good at it he showed little interest in playing at all

He found the training a bit too hard so he gave it away

At eighteen years his last game of football he did play

At twenty one his best years of him ahead a few years short of his prime

He likes the women and the grog and enjoys a good time

He enjoys his every sexual fling and he makes the most of his young life

Without any desire for a steady relationship that would lead him to a wife

A popular chap with everyone on his side of the town

Young Jimmy is a character and nothing gets him down.
