Forgive My Sins

broken_dreams23

Your abuse will end tonight,

No longer will I have to fight.

One more stand, and all will fall,

And pain is the reason for it all.

Deaf to all that I say,

I never seemed to find the way.

To break through the wall of steel,

And make you see what I feel.

Now, finally, my control will snap,

In the purity of hate I spring the trap.

With anger as blade and madness as shield,

Bow to my destruction... you will yield!

No one heard my awful screaming,

Now the naked blade of rage is gleaming.

I fell into the pit I thought I'd closed,

Horrid fantasies, the raven crowed.

Every night, as darkness fell,

I screamed for love, my demons to quell.

My cry wasn't ignored, fate was more cruel,

It gave me scorn and made me a fool.

Deep inside, something tore,

Now blood will surely pore.

My souls scars, opened anew,

Drew a picture of pain in the flesh I slew.

Face the darkness, the nameless foe,

So says the little good in me, but I know.

The dark is my essence, my bloody counterpart,

And my worst opponent was me from the start.

Break the tainting light with sorrow,

So screams the dark, and I must follow.

For the sins of those who wouldn't understand,

I have been strangled by Desolation's hand.

Now I will draw my blade of blaze ire,

And douse my icy soul with fire...

Let crimson life's flow begin,

In blood and death, I'll repay the sin...
