Qualified Complications

Dead Crow

You meant more than you wanted.
( a side you never got to see)

A little bit for you,
Follow the silence
Into the darkness.
Take what we know of one another
And let it slip away,
It's means more than this one lonely day.
To close for comfort
Please, oh please
Kiss my misfortune tonight
Forget all that has happened
And return to the light.

Qualified Complications

Exit behind the willow tree;
it’s happening again.
Eight lives gone,
a friend in a pink bunny suit
without a face.
A boat with a hole,
as the river runs red.
My ego trips;
dilated pupils and de la soul.
A bruised truth forgotten
in a new pair of shoes,
the piano plays out.
Sitting in a hole
with a million misread lips
and people feeding ideas
of what must be happening;
it was us who shared these moments
so who were they to judge.
With no thoughts left
but self hate and youthful frustration,
a misplaced friendship
accompanied my broken heart
which landed me in perfect isolation.
Counting the passing hours,
stacking rocks and singing
wish you were here!
I hate the fucking sunshine,
she only brings depression;
memories of you know who,
spare no pity on my soul
I came on to strong
in the moments I needed you most;
you were gone.

 Hello again good friend.
do you think you can tell,
blue skies from pain?
A beautiful smile is what I recall
