Helpless World

Hribhu Dey

you look
quite indifferent
to see the world
being forced to be called
an asylum
frequented by
nostalgic creatures expelled
headlong from heaven
for no fault of their own
but only for the eccentricities
of a beggar
fantasizing to reorganise
his fleeting
suspense and fear.
