Sunset comes once a day

sarange Ondieki

There shall come a time,

When the fire shall go dim,

Together counted months and seasons,

Years will elapse, still with reasons

Bound, determined, happy.

The flesh shall be spent

Down, the desires shall be burnt,

Ashes of our youthful ages

When life, had no edges

When our world, was green and ripe

Love, as long as your youthful span lasts

Caress as long as your hands holds

Quench your desires, as long as your soul wants

After all, sunset comes a day once,

Usher it, when you’ve lived your fullest
