Watching

thaumiel

you walk through the graveyard
looking for the tombstone of
your long lost love

I sitting above you,
watching you,
entrance by your beauty

you have never seen me,
and i'm content with that

people would call me a stalker
but i'm not.

i'm just a watcher, that keeps people
safe in the darkness.

i'm the lone watchguard, keeping humanity safe
during the night

so if you feel that somebody is eyeing you
it could be me

i'm not here to scare you,
i'm not here to frighten you.
i'm just here to make you safe
while you visit the place where
your long lost love rest.
