Just A Friend

Why can't I think of any other?

Why is my heart aching to have you near?

You look at someone else to love,

I am forced to watch, my eyes filed with tears.

I never want to give up hope that one day you'll see me,

See me as someone more then just a friend.

You laugh and hold me tight until I can't breathe,

When i am down you know the right flowers to me you should send.

You seem not to notice the admiration I give you,

The thoughts I have seem not to be shared.

So I sit and wait for you to realize I need you,

As I try to control the feeling that life without you i can not bare.
