Take your hand, lead you from the crowds
To watch the sunset and spot the pink clouds
Waiting for the stars and forget about plans
Snuggled up tight, fall asleep holding hands
Out of everything, what could beat this?
Wake up the next day, road trip, travel far
Listen to you play a simple song on your guitar
Reach the beach designation on the navigation
Never thought that I could have this much admiration
When I’m older these are the days I’ll miss
You would be a circle and I would be a square
Such an odd couple but we make a great pair
I’m the corny movie and you’re the better sequel
On a scale of love we weigh about equal
I’m head over heels with you
Just enough light so I can watch you sleep
I hope that you’re the girl I can forever keep
The way we love is so overzealous
That may be the reason why some are jealous
Left hand and a right makes two
