Still

It seems odd that it went by so quickly,

I thought for sure, our friendship has ended.

And all of a sudden we're so friendly,

Once again, our two worlds have collided.

After what happened, I have yet to cry,

I was in the midst of moving forward.

I thought for sure we have said our goodbyes,

I guess I have completely lost my guard.

And I still can't get you out of my mind,

You should have just picked me right from the start.

I cannot believe that I was so blind,

I'm going to leave and take back my heart.

Now that I start to fall down to the ground,

I hid my presence, never to be found.
