Behind those lying eyes you see
hides the girl with many an insecurity
harmless and kind but lonely inside
she hides away til breath is taken away
but still the path out is back down that broken path
A yell!
A scream!
A terrible scene!
she's found the way back but she's still hidden within
.....
the girl that can't dream
lays on the outside
as she searches for the girl she wishes to be
but she cant get across the broken bridge from where she is
to where she needs to be
stuck on the winding road of misery
she wishes for help that can't be seen

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this last school year when I was going though hell. The feelings in this poem where real to me and when you read this you have to know that when your life is going through hell in a hand basket life is harder for you.
