My Cyber Friend

Huzaidi Hashim

Rummaging thru the cyber pages
as I watched you run around,
Strewing honest fun and happiness
like in a teenage era still abound.
Oh how I wish I knew you,
as I rumbled through this endless race,
wondering what really is true,
of this friend without a face.
I wish I might, I wish I would
stay watching in admiration,
this little lady in red hood
full of hope and aspiration

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is a poem I wrote and posted in poetry.com some time ago. Something went wrong with poetry.com that caused it to be barred from cyberspace. It was only recently that someone 'bought' poetry.com that I managed to reclaim the poems that I posted there. Some of them have been posted here earlier such as 'My Teacher', My Step sister and this one. I will post another tomorrow
