So that I can spread the joy that life can bring

 

Teacher Oh Teacher, teach me how to plan

So that I can convince myself to say I can

 

Teacher Oh Teacher, teach me how to pray

So that I can find solace if I’ve gone astray

 

Teacher Oh Teacher, teach me how to live

So that I can cope with dreams I can’t achieve

 

Teacher Oh Teacher, teach me how to die

So that I can pass this life and into Paradise
