Escape

Any

Curses and chant yelled jokingly from around, Even at home the words in his ears surround.  He begs to escape into the silence, But no one hears his loud pleas.  So much distaste is shown where love is, He sees her tears but is never allowed to see his.  He begs to escape into silence, But no one hears his loud pleas.  Comfort is given by the sting of reality, He finds release in the drip of human mortality.  He begs to escape into sleep, But no one hears his loud pleas. They talk about how they hadn't seen such things, They don't understand why he didn't say anything.  He'd begged to be taken by sleep, But no one listened to his pleas.
