In the shadows

in the shadows is where i dwell hiding my existence from all i know don't want to leave an inprint just to slowly slip away fade from the memory of all who know me so they will never again have to whisper my name or think of me in any way 

in the shadows is where i stay slowly wasting my existence away counting down to the final day i do not deserve to be in this place this is not the girl i always use to be there was once a happier version of me but somewhere down along the line that girl slowly began to die

in the shadows is where i call home there's no one around me and i'm always alone in this solitude is where i find peace there's no negativity or drama this is where i'm at ease the shadows is my heavenly bliss cause to the rest of the world i do not exist
