FOOLING MYSELF

sokibgb

No longer can I fool myself

Thinking that I don't love you

While in my heart I've always known

since the first time I saw you

No longer can I tell myself

That our love cannot be

This love of ours will surely last

for all Eternity

No longer can I look at myself

and say that I don't miss you

All that I want or all i need

is to be always with you

To walk with you and talk to you

Love you, always together

I'd gladly give without regrets

the place I'll have in Heaven

To call you mine and to be yours

I'll gladly burn in Hell

I cannot give you up my love

I've tried as you can tell

All that I want, all that I need

Is to have you say you love me

For then I'll know it has being worth it

The pain your love has caused me

You have such a way of bringing the reader into your poetry.

      • sokibgb

You are just too kind. I just write what I feel.
