Accountability

irontree

What have we done

and what will we do

will you help me

or will I hurt you

can we face the things that we've done

or are we just in this life

for intrigue or to have fun

as we sow so shall we reap

will you build things up

or will you tear them down

will you be a loving support

or a balloon popping clown

all that we do

and all we create

must be accounted for

it's not too late

you have a choice

a resposibility

to make heaven or hell

for you and me

and that is called

accountability

You said it well and you said it strong! Accountability is what life is all about, but sadly the younger generation (which includes our current prez) was raised that the only thing that matters is their self esteem and their feelings and the rest of the world be damned. People need to learn only they are responsible for their actions and they can't go through life blaming others! Keep penning more of these!
