You want to know who I am
Look at me when I speak
I am the pages in a book
You read me one by one
telling you everything
telling you nothing
running truths and lies together
Yet
I possess you
In your addiction
To know who I am
I am a book
We are all books
With our truths and lies
When the story is over
We are cast aside.

- Comment from author about the poem: This was written back in the depths of my depression my thinking about the end, if I wanted to put an end to my life or make another end, that I had not thought of at that time in my life. Do I want to be just cast a side, as just another suicide; I would rather be an entire book; it is my wish that all that have read this poem writes an entire book and finds meaning in every page written; by pulling off the sheep's clothing.

Intense, real and beautiful. I'm glad you decided to be an entire book. I decided I would name my own book a long time ago and although sometimes it changes from suspense and drama to comedy mingle with tragedy my book of Life is never boring It also helps to understand all the other books. Great poem, soki
someone once said we all have a book inside us waiting to be written. some of us write that book in prose, others in poetry, but we all keep rewriting our lives as we go along. strong intense poem!
