PARADOX…

sarah

cautiously hopeful and meaningfully confused,

Trust, an irony, a beauty constantly accused

Because life explores all fallacies it’s laid

These are the vibes that linger its said

The clincher in its certainty firmly says

In all its forms beauty is a sheer weakness

Acclimatizing life forms in neo scenery,

Love, an enigma, a beauty in clear misery

Because it’s traced in sandy bays

It’s a sad drama, the theatre plays

The clincher in its certainty firmly says

In all its forms beauty is a sheer weakness

Inclining the swing in the wind that plays

Hope, a riddle, a beauty of vagueness

Because it defines the aspiring prospect

Uncertain if the dream is what you get

The clincher in its certainty firmly says

In all its forms beauty is a sheer weakness

Thriving for tolerance in all life plane

Patience, an absurdity, a beauty of vain

Because it precisely leaves you annoyed

Fastening up life that is liberally made

The clincher in its certainty firmly says

In all its forms beauty is a sheer weakness

Abiding by rules trying to keep it safe

Discipline, a puzzle, a beauty in dark cape

Because it’s for the weak, the morale made

To the riotous it’s a petty, even creators said

The clincher in its certainty firmly says

In all its forms beauty is a sheer weakness

Sarah, what an intriguing poem! I love the way beauty is used in each verse to have a different meaning.
