in the haze between the hues
of oranges, reds and blues
she walks in the misty dew
out of reach of me and you
I find you here your skirts all washed in water
the colors of your skirts has misted, too
down to pale white my daughter
the pale white now of your shoe
you travel on a rainbow highway
and watch the water flow and flow
this rainbow goes on forever away
maybe even till you grow and glow....

beautiful and intriguing poem! love the images the words paint. I found these lines especially haunting...

A beautifull poem for your daughter
