Velvet Twilight

baj-a

In the velvet twilight

dogs bay mournfully at the moon

young lovers sleep entwined

lost in each others arms.

Silent in its secrets

darkness holds quiet inside

stars shine with pleasure

around the almost moon.

You can hear the night time sighs

softly, oh so softly touch

the darkness if you dare,

climb the steps the stars provide

to the land of love and peace.

Yes, in the velvet twilight

all possibilities exist

that we never get to see

while lost in night time dreams.
