I cannot change what has been said

I cannot erase the image in your head

I cannot say I haven’t bled

I cannot disagree that I should be dead

I cannot wonder why you are mad

I cannot doubt the ways that we had

But I can stray from the ways of the sad

But I cannot leave you, alone with defeat

I cannot tell you I have been beat

I guess lonely I will leave you

Shattered with facts, it was not meant to be

I cannot disagree

I cannot disagree this is a well penned poem. So sad that it is true that we cannot take back words once said. A good reason to remember what our parents taught us when we were young... think before we speak :-).
