I have seen that look before
I've forgotten where or when
All I know is that it brings
Memories of Love and Pain
I have seen that look before
It reminds me of the spring
After a rain shower stops
And the world once again sings
I have seen that look before
I remember how it feels
Is the look that lights one's eyes
When the love inside is real
The look of Love lets us see
What lights the soul from within
It shines thru the eyes of people
Even though they're standing still
I remember now how someone
Looked at me like that one day
The best day, now gone forever
When I sent my Love away
