Capture the Owl
Made a little tourist trip to meet an owl at a zoo
I greeted him with my last and first then he asked me, “Who?”
Upon that I answered with a question asking something new
“When you turn your head around what do you see?” And he said, “You”
“So you have a pair of eyes in the back of your head too?”
He replied with, “I can turn one-eighty what was your first clue?”
Next I asked him his opinion on his captivity view
And he replied with, “Captivity’s a capture” then withdrew
I went back the next day to find him posted on a trimmed tree
I truly wanted more answers about the strange life of thee
So nonetheless I approached him within a cautious degree
Asking another time for answers he nodded to agree
“So how was life on the outs when you were fine and fancy free?”
He told me he asked a lot of questions exactly like me
I wondered of places due to society where I’d be
And came to the conclusion that I may have it worse than he
