My missing piece

Kayla

I held you once, i'll never forget,

that wave of pain, that rush of regret,

Those tiny features on your precious face,

that utter disgust, that feel of disgrace,

that pure disappointment of letting you down,

and knowing you're better off 'cause i'm not around,

never fully understanding why you couldn't stay with me,

but i guess, at least knowing that you'll always be free.

This is beautiful, Kayla. An apostrophe so I'll not ill in line one would help. Keep writing you are fab.

Thankyou 🙂 Every now and then one just comes into my head and if i don't write it down i often loose it, but if i sit and try to write, i have nothing! Ha, i find it strangely soothing though. X
