A signal bounces off orbital transmitter

Laden with pictures of cats by the litter

Zeros and ones that make faces in books

Instructions from chefs on the best eggs to cook

Letters of love transmitted by waves

that crash through our skies in these strangest of days

And into our quiet and solitary rooms

Where walls ring with laughter and recommended tunes

Of another whose buttons are pressed from afar

Two strangers tied together facing

screens in the dark.

Like the rhythms in this, but for reading aloud would really like some punctuation!
