Rain Drops

author2010

Rain drops falling from the sky like that of water falls, thunder  following which mesmerisies me as if bowling balls are being rolled.

The lighting flashing in the sky is like that of a furiousloin, the thunder making a sound that made you jump.

Those sounds scared me but I remember those are sounds from Gods letting us know he's in charge.

Patiently waiting, it stops then he awards me with not just one but two beautiful rainbows in the sky.

No more do I complain about the rain because through all the darkness comes light and beautiful rainbow's.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I love rain and always have sense I was a kid. Standing outside letting it fall on me, playing in the puddles and watching from my bedroom window at times the rain falling from our slanted garage roof that looked liked water falls. I love bowling and thunder makes me think of God rolling his bowling balls.
