Trapped in the Head

RyanFoundoulis

She's trapped up in her head,

In a prison cell and a prison bed.

She writes, writes away the pain,

Her words falling like some black rain,

Into broken sentences, things unheard.

Her mouth's the pen and she screams the words,

To blank pages and empty walls,

Lonely rooms and bathroom stalls.

It's lonely in her prison bed,

Trying to escape her prison head.
