The Storm that Defined Us

Bmulk

With starving love we collided in the clouds that we created in the sky together.
Forever in existence I thought we'd be connected.
Lifted up to dance differently as one, while we internally slowed.
Your love, exciting a passion inside me; pulling down my gaurd.
The outer layers of myself stripped away from our constant embrace.

But as I fell, you remained cold.

So now we dance with a world in between.
Our love becoming ever more static with the distance.

Frozen by your upward movement towards the heavens I watched you as I melted and fell deeper.
Our different stages of being evermore increasing to the opposite effects of one another, catalyzing a stronger longing to retain the singular elements of our once common state.

Finally reaching our inability to impede our illusive reaction built on the desperation of our misconceived destiny, we fuse.

Heat so intense, the sands turn to glass.

But no longer than the flash it took to reunite our chemical presence, it forever came to an end.
Each of us dissipating into an atmosphere of never ending change. Lost from the bond that once connected us.
