"Assumptions"

melisa alpizar

And I’m tired of all your assumptions,
and I’m tired of being beat down by your words,
I’m just so tired of it all,
its like I never do enough,
its like you don’t care when you hurt me,
its like hopeless for me to even try to make you proud,
I’ve just been a good girl to make you proud,
but its just never enough,
please tell me what in this god damn world do you want from me,
i know you don’t trust me,
you don’t believe me,
you see the worst in me but what I’m offering is my best,
so i don’t understand your mentality or your strategy,
what can i do to satisfy,
please tell me cause I’m going insane,
please just ease my pain,
I’m just tired of your assumptions,
I’m tired of your questions,
but heres a suggestion,
trust her, believe her, understand her,
but theres no more time for that i guess thats why i hate you with passion,
i guess thats why i have no compassion,
i mean I’ve learned from the best,
now let me show the rest...
