Happily Ever After

CedesShares

I never thought this would be the life I lead.

Three men that I gave all of me,

who's only interest was the deed.

I dreamt of fairy tales and once upon a times,

only to wake up to harsh fails and uphill climbs.

Eyes closed I bit the apple and feel the poison,

of which I have chosen.

My memories are like a dragon,

trapping me in a castle of regret.

My only hope now,

is to simply forget.

Which may never happen,

but I am prepared to wait,

no matter how long it takes,

for my Prince Charming will be my fate.

As well as my happily ever after,

and a new beginning,

filled with joy and laughter.
