It's 8 in the morning in the so small,
A new girl was sighted walking the halls.
She comes from a land where warriors dare to fight.
The colors of her patch was Orange, Green and White.
Her eyes were baby blue, her skin pale but fair, freckles on her nose and wavy red hair.
She spoke very different and people pushed her away. As for me, I asked "If she would like to play!"
Our friendship grew for the next three years until I received news that brought her to tears.
I told her, "I can't stay that. I have to move away." She said "Before you leave, I have something to say!"
"We've been the best of friends these last three years and your the only friend I've made since I moved here. No matter where life takes you and whatever you do, don't ever forget that I Love You!"
I boarded the plane after I said my last goodbyes, I watched as tears fell from her beautiful blue eyes.
The pain still remains, but I must be tough. We maybe older now, but we still have young love!

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is a true story of how I met one of the most awesome person when I lived in England! Still to this day, I'm trying to find her! I don't know where she is or if she's married, but I will remember the day we met and the young love we shared! I hope this poem helps people not give up searching for your loved ones!
