I want it;

I want someone

to feel strongly enough

 to tell me that they love me.

 I don't get it;

Why don't I get it?

Is it chemicals

changing the way I think?

Or just a bond physically?

why does it hurt;

watching them

 with their lovers?

Or partners?

Or even the love the friend that they love?

I hate it;

I despise it;

If I could kill it,

believe me;

I would do it in cold blood;

without a twitch to change my mind.

Who figured out that stupid word?

That stupid feeling;

Who could feel it;

who can't?

How they're loved;

how they're not;

how they want to be.

I want it;

I don't;

But I desire it;

I love the idea of love,

I'm entranced by the idea

of this person

losing their power

to the strength

of them falling for me.

I hate it;

I want it;

I don't;

I do;

Why God?

I love them;

but they don't love me.
