The Voice in My Head

yoliehardin

This voice in my head is telling me go,

without question, I go.

I go to the Bayfront to do my walking.

So many people enjoying

the beautiful view of the Bay,

when far away my eyes are drawn to this man;

Why this man?

There are many steps that take you down to

the sand and sea where I see this man; I wave to him to get

his attention; he was the only one to turn and look up at me.

Without hesitation he climbed these steps to come to me.

I give him a few dollars and asked him, "why are you here

with your suitcase?"

His eyes looked at me with so much sadness and tells me

that he had lost his father several months ago and his

brother weeks ago.  I gather that he had lost the

will to support himself.

I shared the gospel with him.  With our conversion I gathered

that he knew the Lord Jesus but had lost his way.

He seemed so humble and appreciated my talking to him.

I say to him to tell his companions and others about our

Savior; the Lord Jesus.

Is this why I was sent there to bring him back to

The One who loves us; to the One that will never

leave us nor forsake us?

He says,"I will do what you are doing."

He thanked me with a big smile and hurried back

to his companions.

But why me Lord; why choose me?
